Team GT/Atherton Racing officially launched their 2014 campaign today, with a presentation of the team, bikes, and gear that they hope will carry them to victory this season. The team remains the same as in 2013, but there is a lot to report on with regards to all the rest. We'll have in-depth coverage for you a bit later, but for now here is a sneak peek of the new goods courtesy of our man on the ground, Duncan Philpott:
The Atherton Racing GT Fury gets bigger wheels for the 2014 race season, while retaining the same basic design as last year's model. It's currently a special racing development project and may or may not see production in the future. The team bike is decked out with new Team Atherton graphics, an SRM power meter, Shimano Saint and Pro components, as well as some special FOX suspension.
First public appearance of a brand new Enduro tire, based on Der Baron but featuring wider lug spacing, bigger ramps, and consistent side knob spacing.
All-new design for the team gear from ONE Industries.
Keep up to date with the team on Facebook, Instagram, or the team website, and stay tuned to Vital for more from the launch shortly!
