Richie Rude and Tracy Moseley Win EWS Crankworx Whistler

If you would have asked us which Enduro World Series event was most most suited to Richie Rude with his background racing World Cup DH, lift assisted Whistler would have been on top of the list. Of course, Yeti's young gun has already proven that he can hang with the very best of the discipline on any course and in any format, taking his maiden EWS win in Samoens earlier this year, and now he has added the 2015 Crankworx Whistler EWS trophy to his collection with a strong performance on his suitably beefed-up SB6c over the 5 gnarly stages laid out in and around the bike park on Sunday. Congrats Richie, and congrats to Yeti on the double podium with Jared Graves in 3rd. France's Yoann Barelli made his first EWS podium appearance with a strong and consistent ride to 2nd, while Australia's Josh Carlson won the first 2 stages of the day and looked set to challenge for the podium and the win - but troubles on the last stage meant he would have to wait for another opportunity.

In the women's, Tracy Moseley once again proved that she is the woman to beat, although last year's winner Cecile Ravanel gave her a good run for her money, swapping stage wins throughout the day. Big shoutout to Isabeau Courdurier who won a stage en route to a career-best 3rd place and her first EWS podium.
