A tight battle at the top as series leader Sam Hill suffers a puncture.

Day 1 of racing in Ainsa, Spain is in the books, and there has been plenty of drama already, especially for series leader Sam Hill who had a flat tire and is currently sitting 1min30 behind the leaders in the overall. Richie Rude won three out of the day's four stages to take the day one lead, but Martin Maes won the final stage of the day and only trails Richie by 12 seconds - it's all still to play for tomorrow! In the women's, business as usual for Cecile Ravanel who holds a commanding 50 second lead over Isabeau Courdurier with Andreane Lanthier Nadeau a further 23 seconds back in third.
