The usual suspects sit at the top of qualifying at Mont Sainte Anne. Aaron Gwin, Rachel Atherton and Finn Iles set the fastest times in their classes at arguably one of the most brutal and demanding downhill courses of 2016. Gwin hit 75.5kph / 47mph in the speed trap!
Notable DNF's include Josh Bryceland and Brendan Fairclough. Sam Dale, Mike Jones and Myriam Nicole are listed as DNS. The only female competitor from the U.S., Amanda Batty, was listed DNS due to a concussion sustained on the first day of practice.
