Qualifying from the 4th round of the UCI World Cup DH in Leogang has concluded with Aaron Gwin, Rachel Atherton and Elliott Heap on top. Conditions were wet and slick. Aaron Gwin, who won this race last year without a chain, posted a time that was 8 seconds slower than the time set by Troy Brosnan during timed training in dry conditions yesterday. Rachel Atherton continues her dominance with an 8.5-second victory over Tahnee Seagrave while Elliott Heap shows consistency in the Junior Men's class with his 1st place time. gordo's Vital OTB pick, Loris Vergier sits in 2nd with a stellar qualifying run, just 1.5 seconds behind Gwin...just sayin'. Sam Hill did not start unfortunately due to an injury in practice that left him banged up. You can hear about it from Sam in our practice slideshow. There were quite a few DNF's and DQ's thanks to a technical and slippery course. The final runs for the qualified riders take place Sunday morning in Leogang and you can watch the race on Red Bull's live feed.
