RESULTS - Jack Moir and Isabeau Courdurier Win EWS Loudenvielle #2 1

Another epic showdown as the racing once again went right down to the wire in Loudenvielle.

RESULTS - Jack Moir and Isabeau Courdurier Win EWS Loudenvielle #2

The weather conditions couldn't have been more different compared to round 1 of this double-header event, but the results were pretty similar: a tight battle that went right down to the last stage. Just when it looked like Richie Rude was in position to turn the tables on Jack Moir, an issue on the last stage saw the American drop a few precious seconds leaving the door open for Jack to claim the Loudenvielle double. In the women's event, Isabeau Courdurier dug deep to regain her motivation and her form - she's had a difficult year on the personal side and we salute her for still finding a way to win these events. It was a close-fought battle all day long, with just a handful of seconds separating the women after 40 minutes of racing. Morgane Charre and Melanie Pugin made the podium an all-French affair, Noga Korem charged hard and claimed victory on the last two stages of the day but still landed an agonizing 2 seconds off the main stage.

There will be little rest for the riders until they have to do it all again - Crans Montana is coming up next weekend. Stay tuned!
