RESULTS - Adrien Dailly and Melanie Pugin Win EWS Pietra Ligure

The French flying high in Italy at the penultimate round of the 2020 Enduro World Series.

We're still at a point where we consider the mere fact of a race taking place as a win, but that doesn't mean that the actual race winners don't also have to be crowned. After almost 2000 meters of climbing, 50 kms in the saddle and 5 challenging stages, Adrien Dailly signed his first race win since 2017 while Melanie Pugin bested Isabeau Courdurier (who was riding with a foot injury, we should point out) to book her first trip ever to the top stop of the podium. And how about Jack Moir, bringing it home in third to taste the EWS champagne for the first time ever as well? Attaboy! Martin Maes was looking sharp at the start of the race but crashed and cut his hand on stage 3 which caused him to retire from the race.
