Action, or POV cameras have become an integral part of the action sports landscape, and we're always stoked to discover new options when it comes to these now near-ubiquitous, life-capturing devices. The OLFI brand was created in the UK by Hedcamz, a specialized action camera distributor wanting to produce its own cameras, and after some supply-related struggles with their original model, they are now launching One.Five - the same technology in a smaller, lighter package.
A couple of features help the OLFI stand out in the market, most notably the ability to record in 4K at 24fps, a gyro-stabilized sensor as well as HDR recording. On paper, OLFI's specs will let it go head to head with action camera dominator GoPro's Hero 4 Silver on most features (not all), but more impressively, it does so at a list price of just 149 GBP, or approx $200 USD. For reference, the GoPro Silver lists for $399 (it does also boast a touch screen and certain other advanced features that will justify some of that premium). We'll be getting a unit in to test soon, in the meantime check out the One.Five's specs below to learn more - after you feast your eyes on this rad edit which features Sam Reynold's little brother Tom and was shot on the new camera!
