In a race where the holeshot meant everything, Michal Prokop and Emmeline Ragot take the wins at the 2010 Kokanee Crankworx Giant Slalom event.

Melissa Buhl, 2nd place, was up over Emmeline Ragot by .41 after the first run, but Emmeline, who was snapped in the 2nd run, made up the difference in the final portion of the course during a closely contested 2nd finals run.

4X specialist, Michal Prokop, snapped downhiller, Danny Hart, in both final runs and kept his momentum from winning runs all day long for the win.

There wasn't a huge pro field participating as the long Crankworx starts to wind down and a lot of the big names are looking towards the World Cup finals at Windham starting August 26.

Bryson Martin Jr. won the Men's 16-18 event (equivalent of JrX) earlier in the day.
