The first ProGRT of 2013, Reaper Madness at Bootleg Canyon in Boulder City, Nevada did not disappoint with some serious pro downhill talent battling it out for first place. In the end, KHS rider, Logan Binggeli, took the win on the arid, rocky desert course using 650b wheels (as awesome Vital members have confirmed). 2012 UCI World Cup champion, Aaron Gwin, was only .16 seconds behind Binggeli in 2nd place. Here are some quick results and stay tuned for the full race report soon!

I know it's a total longshot but I predict a WC podium for logan in 2013. He's been killing it for a few years now (before the 650b). Seems to be getting more on his game.

Take a look at KHS Factory Racing's schedule for the year before you make that prediction.

Yeah I just assumed they were racing them all like last year. He's got 3 chances anyway.

Logan has already beat Gwin a few times, now world cups are a different story.

Logan is pretty fun to watch too. Easy to become a fan if you actually watch him at the races. He's more rad and wild and makes his runs look as if he's killing it. Aaron seems more mellow and bro-like, but is crazy fast, focused, and controlled. At times, it just looks like he's cruising, since it's so smooth and controlled, but his times tell another story. Both very impressive. I'm surprised the 3rd place guy is up there with them in time. I've seen his name before, but never actually watched him.

I think you guys got to meet these riders in person to properly appreciate. On this topic, I've gotta say, I've only seen Gee once, and he does some truly amazing things. His presence just exudes freakish athleticism. He seriously flies. Wish I got him on video and picked a good spot to see some of his amazing feats, like gapping sections you never knew could be gapped. Wish I knew when pros come to town, in SoCal, so I could watch them.

The guy who got third kills it. He qualified first, if you watched him ride you wouldn't be suprised at all.

I overheard some spectators saying he had been racing Fontana earlier in the year. Maybe not his first but still impressive.

Mike went down really hard the day before in seeding too so it was sick to see him in the finals.
