A few days after taking home mountain biking's finest individual honor, the Vital Shreddy for Rider of the Year, Josh Bryceland has also managed to nab British Cycling's Ride of the Year award with his world-beating World's run in Hafjell, Norway. Despite launching 4200 feet to flat and mangling his foot in the process, Ratboy crossed the line in second place after throwing away what was surely the winning run and the rare World Cup Overall/World Champs double in the process.

Rat to flat!

Josh took home the award with a massive 60% of the votes in his favor. Manon Carpenter was second with 9.9%, making it a double downhill day. Here are the full results:

  1. Josh Bryceland - UCI Mountain Bike World Championships - 60.06%
  2. Manon Carpenter - UCI Mountain Bike World Championships -9.86%
  3. Sir Bradley Wiggins - UCI Road World Championships - 9.30%
