FINAL RESULTS: Jesse Melamed and Harriet Harnden Win EWS Whistler

Start as you mean to go on. Jesse Melamed and Harriet Harnden did just that at the Whistler round of the 2022 EWS, backing up their Saturday Pro Stage wins by going all the way on Sunday. It was not without drama though, as both Jesse and Harriet were pushed hard and had to wait until the final stage to seal the deal. Richie Rude was trailing Jesse by just 10 seconds when a blowout on the last stage saw him drop right out of contention to finish way down the leaderboard, leaving Jack Moir and Remi Gauvin to claim the remaining two podium spots. Andreane Lanthier Nadeau was on track to make it a Canadian double on home soil when a slow puncture put an end to her challenge, opening the door for a hard-charging Harriet Harnden to secure the top spot on the box. Morganne Charre and Flo Espineira Herreros completed the women's podium, just 4 and 11 seconds back, respectively.
