The current Enduro World Series points leader, Justin Leov, crashed on the slimy and technical Stage 1 at Crankworx Whistler. He slid out on a slippery wooden bridge following a steep chute about a third of the way down the 'Hey Bud' trail. Overnight rains gave many riders problems, especially on the thousands of roots that cover the trail.
This will certainly shake up the overall standings as we head into the final rounds of the series, leaving the door wide open for Florian Nicolai and Richie Rude, who sit in second and third heading into this race. With a DNF on Stage 1, Leov will receive no points.
Stay tuned for a full recap of the day's events in our upcoming EWS slideshow. Racing is still underway.
