It takes a brave man to call anything Danny MacAskill puts out the "best ever yet", because you really wouldn't want to run the risk of belittling any of his previous work, yet that was exactly our reaction when we first sat down to watch a Wee Day Out.

We don't want to spoil too much of the fun for you, suffice it to say that Danny pulls some moves here that will have you rewinding the "tape" more than once. Whether he goes huge or just shows off the kind of creativity, dexterity and touch that nobody else can emulate, he packs so many WTF moments into these short minutes that it leaves you wondering what just hit you. To have this kind of vision and then the skill and determination to actually pull it off is what sets Danny apart from other riders, and what makes a Wee Day Out such a special treat!

This video is sad, really sad. It makes me never want to ride my bike again. It makes me stop and think every time how frail and weak I am compared to this guy whenever I've had to hop over the 6" curb between my house and the 7-11. Trust me, it takes me a long time to prepare for this gigantic curb. I can see it from about 100 meters away, I mentally prepare to go over it, positioning my feet properly on my pedals, weighing myself evenly over my bike, my mind thinks about how I am going to "kill" this "monster" curb today, knowing that once I get over it I can call it a day, drink an overly-hoppy, hot-alcohol IPA with a dumb witty name, knowing full well that the only thing in the video that I can do is sit down and talk to that old dude at the train station.

Until you realize that years from now, the only thing Danny will care about and miss was that time he gotta sit down and chat with his pops.
