Rain! and lots of it. That was the story as racers woke up this morning in Beech Mountain, North Carolina. An overnight storm left the course very wet and muddy.

In the Men's Pro race, Logan Binggeli pulled out a surprising win over first place qualifier Aaron Gwin. Gwin qualified nearly 12 seconds faster than the entire field yesterday, but a crash during the finals set him back into second place, almost 4 seconds behind Binggeli. Hats off to Binggelli for staying upright when it counted, and for his first National Championship Title.
