hey im new here, but ive ridden bmx for 7+years and have been getting into MTB in the past 2 years.

so im in need of new bike. currently have a jamis cross country 2.0, its nice and all but ive outgrown it physically and in skills and i feel the bike is holding me back, plus about everytime i go ride something seems to be breaking or coming loose.

so what would you guys recommend me look into buying, size wise and hopefully that isnt too expensive since im in college and money is tight. Im about 5'8 160lbs.

im also hoping to set up to a bike that has disc brakes, and maybe full suspension. not 100% sure on suspension tho

Dude, if you can swing it Huck In Roll has a couple 2011 Yeti 575's in your size for 2150 with no taxes or shipping. Plus, it comes with the updated Fox Kashima fork and shock. I just ordered one last week and this baby is freaking sweet! It will take whatever you dish it! Here's a link

An upgrade would definitely help. What are you looking to ride? Trails, jumps, downhill, or?
