XX1 split in two???? (Or a great way to clean a cassette)

So. I was JRA pre-riding a race course on Sat...not doing anything fancy and simply switching a gear and heard a rather massive snap. Thought it was just something odd like a pebble or something back there as the noise was not at all even a hard shifting sound (XX1 AXS shifting).

Sometime later I am trying to figure out what is rattling on my bike...found it! While I am certain this is a warranty thing...anyone seen this before? The large cog broke free from the rest of the body. While I knew this, the only real interface from the cassette is under the 50/52 tooth cog...
