What's The One MTB Thing You'd Want For Xmas?

Edited Date/Time 12/13/2015 7:35pm
So,

it's that time of year again, when you get to ask Santa for bike stuff. What's the one thing (bike, component, accessory, clothing, apparel) that really caught your eye in 2015? What would absolutely stoke you out the most under the Xmas tree? Let's share fantasies!

if money were no object, i think it'd be rad to have a 1x Di2 setup. it's gonna be the future, so why not get in early, right?

if money were an object, a klunker.

I need a new DH helmet because last run of the season took a good spill and broke the visor and cracked the chin bar.

Dreams would come true if I got a evoc photo scout backpack. That way I can take my camera on every ride, have a riding pack as well, and still be comfortable.

That and an evil insurgent....

Folks will probably think mine is lame, but I just want a brand spankin' new GT Sensor Carbon Pro. I got the Sensor 1.0 back in their first year (back when I was working in shops for a living), and I've been enjoying it ever since. Can't really afford new bikes now without any EP privileges.

Pretty sure the new version would be siiiiiiiiiiick.

I was just gonna get myself 3 anvl saddles for my patrol, smuggler, and indoor trainer(A few people told me it was the nicest seat to use for longer rides)

Looks like the smuggler I ordered is also going to be a christmas present. They're supposed to be in at the end of the month. I was expecting it in jan or feb. And no, i'm not going to keep both the patrol and the smuggler. I'm gonna ride both and decide which bike is better for utah.

Sounds like you want a camber. ($100 bills not included)

I just want my trail work to be done like 'Samantha' from Bewitched. But I really want a trail bike with 5.5 inches of travel and 27.5 wheels. Pushing my DH bike up easy trails is embarrassing.

I want a 650b shock yoke for my Stumpjumper 29 2016, because your bike can never be too long, low, or slack Smile

Likewise. I want a slack-ish 650B with 6" travel. It kind of sucks for me that the bike I wanted in 2005 (more upright body position, not necessarily cross-country oriented) is now the most popular thing around. Everyone told me, "no, you need to be hunched over or the bike won't pedal at all!" Really guys, I'm just doing this to train for my MX habit - I don't want to win CC races. My 10-YO Gary Fisher is essentially a cross country bike with an extra inch of travel. Hmm.

I'd really like a Pivot Mach6 Carbon, but I think I'll stay in my price range and aim for a Commencal. They seem pretty solid and the guy at their factory store is really cool (I went and checked them out a few months ago and I like their style.)

Now that I have my bike priorities in order, I think it would be nice to get some fresh gear to go along with it. My trail shorts are on their last limb (no pun intended) so a new pair and a matching jersey would be sweet. Maybe a new helmet too if Santa thinks I've been extra good this year ha!
