Some good ones there but it has to be Pearl Jam Even Flow for me. In fact the whole Ten album is great to drive or ride to.

I've voted for one but polls like this based on personal taste are never gonna work, for example I'd put Offsprings Kids aren't allright before Come out and play on any day...

Bohemian Rhapsody

I voted for Paranoid, but the greatest rock song of all time is Communication Breakdown by Led Zeppelin. Maybe that whole album, too.

Foo Fighters - Everlong.

|

Black Sabbath - Into the Void

I can't say I disagree with you on the topic of that album...

I know Stairway takes a lot of flack for being radio friendly and played to death....but if you pick apart the song and the performances that went into that recording, it was too hard to look past it. Musical genius at its finest.

It has to be Zeppelin, but I'd vote Kashmir.

Impossible to pinpoint the greatest rock song ever. Right now I am listening to: When the Levee Breaks by Led Zeppelin...

Bach's works transcend rock & roll, but he'd certainly appreciate most good rock.

No metallica or megadeth on that list, but sweet child 'o mine is?

If I could walk right now, I'd come over there and kick you in the fetus.

I voted Stairway to Heaven. Best way to judge is in a car alone at a pullover in the rain. Play the song with no one around front to back. If when it ends, you feel like you've just lived a lifetime and are spent from all emotions, you've found the greatest rock song of all time.

Ironically, the thing that makes it hard for people to vote for Stairway to Heaven is the fact that the entire Led Zeppelin box set played in it's entirety is literally the greatest song of all time.

Queensryche told a couple mean stories.

As a child of the 80's though, the first time I had Quiet Riot's debut album in my grubby, angst filled, oppressed and misunderstood hands and hit play on Metal Health alone in my room with my Pioneer Boom Box...that moment will stick with me FOREVER!!!!
