I've been racking my brain trying to create the ultimate "all arounder". I have a Specialized pitch with a Marzocchi Z1 light 150mm on the front and I'm running Mavic tubeless 819's and with XT cranks. I LOVE the Z1, but feel it's time to upgrade.

I have narrowed my selection (either the Revelation or the Lyric) The Revelation is much lighter, but the Lyric is much more capable. I ride parks on the weekends and local trails on the weekdays. The Lyric will make short work of the park and I can dial it down to 140 when I ride locally. Is the 10mm of extra travel on the lyric justify the weight, or is the Revelation just as capable?

Both great forks. The Lyrik is more capable on the really gnar stuff, it has better damping. The Revelation never really let me down though, I used it quite a bit at the resorts without issue. My experience is with a 2010 Lyrik 170 SA MCDH and a 2010 Revelation Race 150 w/ Maxle.

Currently riding a 55 Ti, it rocks too. smile
