Fyi, Line Pro pedal owners, there's a recall out:

(Waterloo, WI) - Trek Bicycle, in coordination with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), has announced a voluntary recall of Bontrager Line Pro flat pedals. The safety notice comes in response to a limited number of reports of spindle breakage. Though there have been no reports of injury to riders, those who have purchased the pedals should stop riding them immediately and return them to their authorized Trek retailer for repair.

As part of this voluntary recall, Trek retailers will replace the spindles on each pair of pedals returned free of charge. Trek retailers have been notified and replacement spindles are available immediately. In addition to free replacement spindles, all customers who return a pair of Bontrager Line Pro flat pedals for repair will be issued an in-store credit of $20 good towards any Trek or Bontrager merchandise. The credit is valid through December 31, 2018 and has no cash value.
