It's sad when people decide to sacrifice history in the name of the future. You can rebuild jumps, but you can't replace the soul of a place. Maybe there will come a day when people will say "you know what, let's build houses elsewhere, because this plot of dirt is important to the local community and to riders everywhere - actually, to the great collective known as mankind. We'll just build the new houses a few minutes away instead, since we all own cars and stuff anyway".
Wouldn't that be the shit.
