Weather almost canceled the race, but the World's best hit the slick pavement anyways with Paulo Domingues taking the win! From the text, it seems like Polc got 2nd and Minnaar got 3rd

Here's the official website

Gary Perkin will have a full update on Vital MTB soon.

peaty crashed 2 times, one in the semi, and other in the final. In the semi, it was a small crash, the wheels slipped on a shore. the second crash was a big bike first into a wall. Peat stood a few second on the ground trying to recover.

You can see a small story about lisbon downtown here ( story starts at 1:20; 2nd peaty crash at 1:37)

Hasn't Peaty won the last 4 times this race has been run? Crazy.

Check out Sick Mic. That guy stands on every podium! At some point he will be atop it - and keep it.

I think Peat has won pretty much every single one of them until now. Nasty bail he had in that clip...looks like it was a bit of a carnage-fest throughout.

Why'd they try to help him up right away?!?!?!?!?! The guy is a professional and falling is a part of our sport. He'll get up on his own accord (provided nothing's broken).
