I have a sister thread on Pinkbike for this project, but I'm bored so I'm going to double post here for funsies.

Building up a new 2018 Santa Cruz 5010 CC (dark blue color) from the frame up. Here's a breakdown:

Frame: 5010 CC, size large
Rear Shock: Rockshox Monarch RT3
Fork: Rockshox Pike RCT3, 140mm travel, 15x110
Headset: Cane Creek 110, ZS44/EC49
Stem: Enve Mountain, 40mm length
Handlebar: Enve RSR, 760mm width 23mm rise
Grips: Ergon GE-1
Front Brake: SRAM Level Ultimate
Rear Brake: SRAM Level Ultimate
Front Rotor: Ashima Ai2 180mm
Rear Rotor: Ashima Ai2 160mm
Front Hub: Industry Nine Torch Classic, 15x110, gold
Rear Hub: Industry Nine Torch Classic, 12x148, gold
Spokes: DT Swiss Supercomp, black
Nipples: DT Swiss Squorx alloy, black
Rims: Nextie i27 Asymmetric, UD carbon
Front Tire: Maxxis Minion DHF, 27.5x2.3
Rear Tire: Maxxis Minion SS, 27.5x2.3
Valves: WTB Alloy
Cassette: SRAM XG-1195
Chain: YBN Ti-Nitride, black
Guide: E.13 TRSr, ISCG05
Derailleur: SRAM X01 Type 2.1
Shifter: SRAM XX1 trigger
Cranks: SRAM XX1 Eagle DUB
Chain Ring: Wolf Tooth, 3mm offset, 30t
Bottom Bracket: SRAM DUB BSA
Pedals: DMR Vault Mag/Ti
Seatpost: KS LEV Ci, 170mm
Saddle: WTB Silverado Carbon

Projected weight without accounting for cables/housing, or any steer tube that will be cut off, is around 24 lbs. Hoping for between 24 and 25 lbs, but not focusing too much on weight except for the Ashima rotors. If I find them to be inadequate I will swap them for Centerline-X.

Awesome build I love the frame color. Did it end up under 25 lbs?

It didn't, but that could be in part due to the fact that I had to go with the C frame and not the CC as I had originally planned. Right now it sits at 26.3 lbs with the new bolt-on axles I installed recently. Could probably drop it below 26 with a bunch of titanium bolts and some bike building magic.
