Went to get some Lil C's pizza and spotted this, had to turn around...Hint*Hint*, I'm the guy that spotted that New Norco high-pivot prototype last summer on Cypress mountain also in North Vancouver, BC !

My best guess is it's a new Devinci with the split-pivot axle. Its full carbon so this thing is coming out soon

Could also try and match the owner of the vehicle advertising Aya Kitchens to staff at Devinci, WAO, etc... for those who have time on their hands.

White label oem tires as well, if that matters. Maybe this is a full on production bike peeking out early that's had its release held up by the parts shortage.

Basically, although usually this would be in the tech rumors thread with the rest.

Looks VERY DeVinci... Especially the hollow rocker, look at the rocker on the new troy.

So perusing the Subtle Red Bike site, they were talking about prototype bikes that never made it to production. One of which was the Devinci High-Pivot DH bike that was a "test mule" for the company. Looking at it, the rear triangle and high-pivot to bottom bracket connection look nearly identical to the one @barney spotted.

Beg to differ - looks quite different (seatstay link is where idler sits on dh proto and spyshot its on the chainstay).

Not saying its not Devinci, just looks nothing like their dh proto (other than the fact its high pivot, in which case it looks like every other high pivot out there)

Possibly an Evil - new following?

Hard to believe a new Evil, that is unless they are getting rid of Dave Wealgle's DELTA system. As for the similarities between the Wilson Proto, I do see a resemblance between the rear triangle of each bike (ignoring of course the shock layout).

The link says yes. The the cable entry's look in line with the '21 Troy as well

The current spartan is also going on season 4 so the product cycle timeline makes sense that they'd be testing 2022's out in the world.

Ha! I saw their article and they included a lot of the info we discussed here, including the Devinci DH comparison.

Did they just pull all that right off this thread? I've seen them use stuff from here before but that's just brutal.
