Hi everyone! So I am trying to change my stock SRAM X-sync chainring with an oval one from absoluteblack. I'm currently running a 32t and would like to change to 34t oval. I'm using the SRAM NX crank which has the spider and the crank arm as one piece. When I fitted up the new chainring, it hits the chainstay so we (me w/ the bike mechanic) tried putting a spacer on the BB (XT M8000). My frame is a Mondraker Leader 2018 model. As we put the spacer, we can't completely tighten the BB and it doesn't spin freely.
What I'm thinking is, would flipping the chainring fix the issue?

If that's your stock set-up a 34 will not fit and you're maxed at a 32T round.
If you're putting spacers behind the bracket your axle won't protrude enough on the non-driveside of the bracket to properly install cranks.
As @mfoga mentioned: If you're using a Shimano bb with Sram cranks it's definitely time for a different mechanic.
