Tomas Slavik noted that Ft. William will host a round of the 4X World series during their 2012 World Cup weekend.

Does this news stoke you out, even if the event is not UCI sanctioned?

Fairly stoked to see this, i dont see why they shouldnt still have 4x races and also a world championship in some aspect. A series would also still be pretty nice, the racing is still very fun to watch.

I don't think they got a web cast deal? So we won't be watching, and the sponsors won't care. The only thng we will be watching is the slow death of 4x. Just pull the trigger and kill it. They should put all there energy into DH, and make it a olympic sport! I would like to see a fun pump track event at every world cup!

Got to love the haters. Ebot...

Any way for people that know what makes a great weekend of gravity racing DH only will not make a weekend of attraction, yep the race on Sunday will draw in loads of people but most people won't go on Saturday to see no action.

The fact Fort William & Val Di Sole both still want the excitement that 4X racing brings to Gravity weekend, This is even after the UCI canned it shows that 4X gives a real boost to the weekend.

Totally stoked to see that a bunch of my friends and other racers will still have a sick series to compete in.

HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE SCHEDULED SO THAT FINALS RUN AT NIGHT SO THAT PHOTOGRAPHERS CAN GET ONE SHOT OF THE FIRST TURN BEING LIT UP BY FLASHES AND NOTHING ELSE. THAT WAS COOL TO SEE AT JUST ABOUT EVERY WORLD CUP 4X EVENT IN RECENT MEMORY.
