Didn't realize he lived in that area, I just remembered Neko. If the YT Mob folded that would be big. Would Martin start a new team with another brand?

I hear Canyon and commencal barely have anyone on their bikes next season, maybe they could use a few riders.

Greenland definitely on the syndicate (well Santa Cruz at least). Saw him riding one mid week at ponty last week.

Hopefully Connor Fearon to Mondraker ?

Would love to see him on a new team/bike with a solid team mate
Apparently word on the street is that fearon is forbidden to talk about his new bikes.......

I feel like there was a rumor about them coming out with a full fledged DH bike some time in the future? With Magnus Manson and Connor Fearon on the team, they'd definitely have reason to do it.

It’s hard to believe that an entire world cup team is about to cease operations leaving a group of legitimate podium contenders to find new sponsorship and there’s been nary a peep about it on this forum.

Who else is changing sponsors on the EWS side of things? Martin Maes to Orbea, Evan Wall to Devinci. Maybe someone from the Kona team?

Any word on Katie? I'd also be surprised if Melanie doesn't land a new contract after last season...

Katy and Noga on the same team would be awesome! Would it be GT or Nukeproof? I.haven't looked at metrics. But, the women seem equal to or better than some of the men on the social media side of things.

Also, Dakota and Luca on YT makes perfect sense, in terms of US marketing and sales.

One US rider is enough. An Aussi rider would make sense in terms of marketing and sales.

Bernard had the big Pivot truck up for sale recently. Probably just selling it to buy a new toy or liquidate some cash he does love his toys.
And probably me wasting time posting in this thread.

I cannot imagine him not riding for Pivot or managing their DH/EWS race program. Such a stand up guy, brilliant rider and a great team.

I think he said in one of his previous vlogs that he was buying a new one. I think it might have been in the mxgp one, cause he was looking round one of the mx teams trucks to see how they'd laid it out

Sounds about right. Cheers for the call out from the vlog.
Interested to see what they end up with.

Intense Factory Racing taking the piss.

As an American, I've longed for the opportunity to use that phrase for some years :D

Intense fishing for some attention since their team and new bike can't get any while racing world cups, they can only dream of signing someone like Laurie.

Neko off intense and on to privateer? In a fairly recent podcast he mentioned he was working on putting his program together for next year.

Dak off YT and to Intense to keep the two elite riders US based?

Carson Storch moving on from Rocky Mountain (press release below):

After a successful career with Rocky Mountain, Carson Storch is moving on in 2022. Carson joined the Rocky Mountain program in 2016 and has since grown into an internationally recognized freerider. From podium finishes at the Red Bull Rampage to logging first descents in the remote Arctic, he’s been an inspiration year after year.

Carson lives for riding and his passion for pushing the limits has given him an amazing career. From riding backcountry scree to slopestyle contests, singletrack trail rides to the Red Bull Rampage. His love for two wheels has brought him around the world, earning him incredible results and unforgettable memories.

Looking back over the years, we’re proud of Carson and thank him for sharing the past six years. We put together a photo set to highlight some of the big moments and we’re wishing him all the best in 2022 and beyond!

"Carson, being your teammate for the past 6 years has been a blast. From cheering you on at the Rampage to hanging in Bend for Black Sage, I've always been amazed by your confidence on the bike and your humility off of it. Looking forward to watching your incredible talent and creativity for years to come." - Thomas Vanderham

"Riding with Carson has always been a riot. The guy oozes style on a bike and his wicked sense of humor and positive attitude always made freeride trips more fun. My favorite memories of riding with Carson were from a trip we did to the Yukon, where he sent some big hits in an ultra-remote location. On a few of the features, he set in first tracks and some of them ended in major crashes. But - Carson always picked himself up and went back for more, which is what it means to be a true freeride legend!" - Wade Simmons

"I'd like to say thank you to Rocky Mountain for believing in me over the past 6 years. Throughout the course of our relationship, my career has shifted from slopestyle to big mountain freeride, and Rocky Mountain had my back through all of the ups and downs. It's been an honour to ride for Rocky Mountain, and I’m proud of what we've accomplished together. Freeride ain’t dead!" - Carson Storch

I wonder if they'll replace him or are they done w/ freeride? (Given that they don't have a dh bike I suspect the latter, he and Vaea both ride old Maidens).
