I hope not, Simply because I want Yeti to get back into the DH game.

Yeah I know. I’m just hoping that one day “talking about it” turns into a sweet af sb200. Couldn’t care if they never make production I just have an affinity toward yeti dh as my first dh experience was on a clapped out 303 and it was just such a badass bike and got me into the sport even if it took 10 years before I could afford to buy a mtb

Well one thing is a guarantee, a new rider will be joining Gwin and Neko on Intense and that rider has already been chosen.

I'm more interested in where Moir ends up. He was killing it when he was with Harrison and Lucas. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like this new team sucked the life out of him.

I am guessing adjusting to all the new components surrounding the bike didn't help him either (e.g., Kenda tires, new shock system, new rims and drivetrain, etc.). Heck, during the new team ride press stuff he was doing in January with Gwin and Neko, I believe he took a pretty good fall that knocked him out of full participation.
Gwin and Neko both said at various points in season that Jack was going to have a much harder time adjusting to new components than they were adjusting to a new frame.

source from a media guy straight from Oneal, who told me recently that there is no signed contract for 2020+, we will see what the future brings.

I'm just curious if they had a 3 or 4 year deal signed in 2017. My apologies if this has been addressed already, but I don't think it has. Cheers!

No info other than they were all together riding in japan last week. Even loris even though he couldnt ride with his wrist in a cast. If any of them were moving id think it be unlikely theyd be all together on a big trip this late in the year

FMD (Tahnee and Kaos) riding Canyons next year.
I wonder how much Money Canyon is throwing at them if this is all true. I look at the aging Sender vs TR11 and all I can think is this is something that is purely coming down to money.

then again age doesn't really factor into it if the design is pretty dialed to begin with. A lot of the upgrades that were made to the tr11 this year arguably made it close the gap to the Sender design wise, not soar past it. (yes, I am a suspension nerd that also happen to own a Sender, so ever so slight bias here Wink )

Also, it would hardly be a surprise if Canyon put out a new (bigger wheeled) frame before or during this coming season - especially if the loftier mr Wallace remain in place. They have done a ton of tweaks with the Sender over the years - more than enough to update the base design one would imagine. Longer front/center, more progressivity and a big wheel option is where the Sender can be made even more race ready imho.

Besides - the Canyon team seems to be a pretty sorted outfit. I would imagine that FMD crew could learn a lot from Barel & co.

I would love to see Tahnee on Canyon.

I am also curious if there are going to be any changes regarding CousCous' outfit. Still running strong with Polygon?

Yeah, it is not if the Sender wasn’t doing well in the DH bike test this year Wink

Gwin confirmed a third "new" rider had been added when talking to him at the Path bike shop Intense demo this weekend...

On the most recent GMBN Dirt Shred Show Martin was saying that Vitus has some new surprising riding for the upcoming season. Wonder who that could be?

Probably rob Warner. Sam Hill been riding Vitus road bikes, but probably a chain reaction thing.
