Why would Semenuk run old Code brakes? In his build vid he put on new ones. But yesterday he was on Avid Codes.
Don't know about Semenuk but I noticed that Kyle Strait was running old code levers so I wouldn't be surprise. Now the question is why.

Yup, spotted those on insta a few weeks ago. Hope they're more powerful than current Hope brakes

Does anyone maybe have some information when the new Boxxer and Super Deluxe DH shock(s) will get released?

2020 stuff was available since March or April 2019, so it would fit, yeah. Though covid stuff might change things...

Because of the dual crown, they obviously don’t need as thick stanchions.
From what I can tell the blackbox boxxers at the worldcups were also still 35mm

Gotta milk the people willing to pay for Flight Attendant first, before they bring the improvements to normal suspension.

Considering the flight attendant stuff is OEM only for the time being it's possible that the launch was when it was because of the new model year bikes that were being shown off at the same time as well.

It would already fit the rear shock, I wonder if the fork mount would work on a Boxxer?

Why would you? Flight attendant is to give more compression automatically on flat and uphill, and is in full open on downhill. Purpose is for long travel trail bikes to firm up when pedaling smooth ground.

For self shuttling your DH bike to the top of the hill and in case you wanna use a dual crown for enduro. Both outlying cases but just curious...

i would say the 7 spd cassette plus the geo would be the bigger chore pedaling up the DH-bike.

Lousa 😜

As for fitting, it seems the actuator already fits inside the stanchion. The battery is the part that's mounted behind the crown and even that might cover the boxxer crown when it comes at the Lyrik variant. Or just make a different bridge to mount the battery (minimal changes to the whole setup in that cases). It might not even need fcc recertification?

Yeah, but that would only be a remote controlled unit, not a fully automatic one. I could dig that for the shock, but that would mean full repackaging of the controller, as it seems, the lever commands the controller, which gets data from the internal accelerometer (for flat/up/down, sensing) and from the crank sensor, and commanding its internals as well as the rear shock. I guess also the setpoints are defined in the controller unit. So unless they build a new version of the lever with internal controller lite (skip the pedal input and accelerometer) and rear shock only, I would not see it a good fit for downhill Smile

Does anyone know whats with the Commencal FRS/Furious thing on their bikes? Did they run into an issue with naming rights? I noticed Kyle and Andreu's rampage bikes they'd changed it to FRS and its that way on the website as well. Seems like a Santa Cruz Solo/5010 situation.
I think Specialized patented vowels and are trying to sue anyone using them (see Roubaix as a previous example).

@baronKanon not really sure what you're aiming at... Levers? Why skip the pedal input? Why rear shock only?

Anybody know what this is? Preview picture on mike levy's pinkbike page, can't find it in the album. Looks like the AXS dropper lever with 3 paddles?

It's just the flight attendant left controller. The lower button and middle rocker are the same thing.

Any info on the next Remedy? I haven't seen any leaks or confirmations but I'd expect MX/mullet wheels; same as the latest Bronson

I've ordered the new remedy and there's only new spec and paint, it's still 27.5

Curious to know what Trek is giving your for a delivery time frame? Makes sense though that a new mullet Remedy will be release though.

I've been wondering that as well. With the top fuel moving well into Fuel EX territory, it seems to me the EX would get pushed into Remedy territory. Do they keep both or ditch one?

I'm thinking the Remedy is on it's last leg, at least in it's current configuration. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Remedy 29 make a comeback to fill the gap between the Fuel and Slash.. Or, maybe a mullet bike to jump on that trend..
