I think more importantly, who is giving to front the tab to get Ben Cathro at every world cup and world champs this upcoming year? Cathro Vision has been amazing all last season. The insight and video he gets is second to none. love the rawness.
Looks like a mass exodus from Fox (clothing), budget shrink? Or are Royal upping their game with sponsorship?

I saw a few additions for them. Ethan nell is a big add now.

As for Ratboy on Sram, he's been running Eagle in one of the EWS races, Colorado if i'm not mistaken.
My poorly constructed, most likely wrong theory is that Ratboy's newest bikes are just being pulled off the retail racks at the SC warehouse so he rides whatever spec is on them aside from the Fabric stuff he's been promoting.
Has he mentioned any specific drivetrain/suspension sponsors lately? His DH bike is still spec'd mainly with Syndicate stuff no? Seems like maybe he isn't as focused on getting a sponsor for every single little detail and in some cases just going with the flow. You don't have to get a sponsor for every single component if you don't want to. Maybe the cash-flow is more than enough for what he wants. Plus Santa Cruz could be fine tossing him complete bikes rather than just frames. Who knows!
BMX Olympian and MTB dominator Caroline Buchanan has been in a nasty car accident, which left her with a broken sternum and a collapsed lung. Here's wishing you a speedy recovery Caroline, the mountain bike world looks forward to catching up with you again at Crankworx!

Good point actually, i did think about that as well. But the factory Nomads all come exclusively with RS suspension and Sram brakes, while he was on FOX suspension and Shimano brakes at the time.
A EWS friend was approched by the red T some time ago. He was a potential choice as the best privateer en 2017 but they finally wanted a top ten to replace the one that's moving to the Y blue...
So this means there's a big spot in the red T for a top rider... But who !?!

Trek isn't overly know for taking risks when it comes to riders. And to be honest, the Katy Winton,Casey Brown and Lew Buchanan team was a bit of a suprise as it wasn't what Trek would normaly do. Whoever they sign, my guess is they go with a rider whos a little more on the veteran side of the EWS.
I know François Bailly-Maître had an interesting set up with IBIS last year, it was some kind of independent contract or something... The guy has had a crazy consistant career in the EWS since it started and if he's not on a standard team contract with IBIS my guess is he is up for grabs. Also if it means anything, he has no sponsors in his Instagram account...
So I am taking François Bailly-Maître as my top guess.
Not sure if someone caught yet but Alchemy Bicycle post this on their Instagram account December 22. Of course matches Anne and Cody's Instagram account recent posts.
Just a rumor.... but Cody Kelley posted that people should try guessing his new team during the next week. Nukeproof USA ambassador Rich Houseman (bigzcasa on instagram) responded with "I’m excluded from this contest! go fast in ‘18"
If the Nukeproof ambassador is excluded then either he is involved with Cody's arrival...... oooorrrr he is simply a friend who knows too much.
Kelan Grant recently took the leap/promotion to the EWS CRC team after racing for Nukeproof domestically (I forget where he is from) so it does make sense that Nukeproof would now gun for some podiums in the USA domestic races. There is no one better to do that with than a guy who has struggled to breach the top of the EWS, and has actually missed some EWS rounds, but has proven he can quite easily win domestic races. Cody Kelley really would be the top choice for a rep in the USA to grab the BME, Scott, maybe Cascadia, and also the NAET championships. It would be quite a coup for a small inexpensive (budget) brand to add all of that to already having the EWS champion on their bike.

NEVERMIND. Cody just posted a hint picture of a rear triangle and its clearly an Alchemy Arktos.

Looks like Kyle Warner is on(back on) Felt Bicycles for 2018.
