There were guys on DH bikes and guys on hardtails. I rode my Transition Double. It depends on what you plan to do. If you are looking to hit the big stuff and not spin or flip, bring a bigger bike, if you plan to spin or flip bring a short travel...slopestyle bike or a hardtail

Each year at ranchstyle, you will see everything from a singlespeed hardtail DJ bike to pro level slopestyle bikes to full on DH race bikes. Run what you have and just get all your tricks dialed in for the event.
