Sun Ringle Demon Hub - Removing drive side sealed bearing

Edited Date/Time 8/17/2014 2:10am
Hi all. Need a little help getting out the drive side bearing from my Sun Ringle hub without damaging the ratchet teeth for the freehub. Can't tap out the bearing without it hitting the teeth. The bearing is a 6002-2RS with significant play that it really needs to come out.

Any suggestions anyone?

The hub has sentimental value, so I'd rather just replace the bearing rather than get a new rear hub.

Tap it with a punch from the non-drive side?? That's how do it most of the time

Already tried that step, and the bearing gets stuck on the ratchet teeth somehow. Friend of mine suggested a bearing puller. Hopefully I can find one.

Hi, first you must remove ratchet ring to do it you need BSHUBTOOL2 (only if you have 30 teeth).
