I have rode bmx for a long time and im ready to switch it up a bit. i have never owned a DJ bike before with that being said im looking for a little help. Right now im looking at the Santa Cruz Jackal or the GT La Bomba. I really like the geo of the Jackal but dont know a whole lot about them i have rode GT bmx bikes and got mixed feelings about them. If these bikes are a waste of time let me know and point me in the right direction. I have a budget of around 1,700 dollars. thanks in advance.

you may want to look at transition bikes or even the specialized p series bikes. Both companies offer completes with nice parts on them.

Specialized P3, LIFETIME WARRANTY!!! Or a Giant STP, the dropouts are the best in the biz

jackals are nice, just get wider bars and lighter tires if you go stock
