If this story didn't involve Eddie Masters and Bernard Kerr, we'd mentally call foul, politely smile at the tale-teller and then turn around with our eyes rolling. Bernard Kerr, racer and team manager for Pivot Factory Racing, booked lodging for the La Bresse World Cup some six months ago. After a long, jet-lag-inducing flight from a hearty Crankworx Whistler week, the crew rolled into La Bresse tired and weary. Bernard, with spotty specifics, led them to what they thought was their accommodation. He knew the street name and new the house number and that got them close, but not quite close enough. Bernard and Eddie tell the hilarious and almost horrifying tale as they make sure the legend of being a World Cup downhill racer lives on. - Interview by Sven Martin
