2019 Polygon Siskiu N9 29 Bike - "The term 'game-changer' gets thrown around pretty loosely these days. Having said that, this bike has been a game-changer for me! Coming from an XC / light trail bike from Giant, I was looking for an enduro style set up that I could grow into as my skills improved. I took literally months reading and watching reviews. With a firm grasp on what to look for in bike geometry, components and build quality, the search began for the best value. I narrowed things down to three companies. Polygon became the clear winner. Other bikes with comparable components were pushing over $1,000 more! Out of my range.

My medium frame 29er weights in at roughly 32-pounds. Impressively (to me) the same as my XC bike so, no penalty for me to have full suspension. At 5-foot 7-inches tall, I realized how poorly sized my XC bike is for me. The medium N9 fits perfectly with everything comfortably in reach. The bike just feels right. The FOX suspension, once dialed in for the rider, adds a level of stability and confidence that I had only read about. The local gnarly trail that had me creeping down the steep rocky and rooty drops was now seeing me attack with speed and confidence. The suspension soaks up the hits while keeping the tires planted. The four-piston brakes work well. I honestly don't notice them, they just work and I don't think about them. I guess that is a good thing.

My only complaint so far would be that the Eagle GX can, initially, be tricky to dial in. Getting the right spacing on the Eagle gear is usually the culprit.

In general, this bike has changed the way I ride and encourages me to push harder on the trails. There are certainly other bikes with slicker rear suspension linkage and uber cool frame set ups and materials but, for the money, the N9 is a real winner in this price point.

I highly recommend it if you are looking to get into an enduro rig that can handle serious downhills and climb right back up with minimal fuss." - Read more»
