How It Works: BikeYoke's 185mm-travel Revive Dropper Seatpost 3

No worries about air contaminating your dropper post with the Revive.

The BikeYoke Revive (which won Vital MTB’s Seatpost Face Off a few months ago) comes in 125, 160 or 185mm-travel versions for 30.9 and 31.6 clamp diameters. This dropper seatpost uses a unique open bath design that allows any unwanted air in the system to be bled quickly and easily should it get on the wrong side of the piston. Unlike many hydraulic posts that can become suspension posts when air contaminates the system, seeping past the O-rings, the Revive has an allen screw at the top of the post for easy bleeding in the case of such an event. Open the screw and compress the post. This forces fluid, and any air present, up through the internal tube and out the top. Closing the same screw seals the system and re-extending the post returns the post to its original position without any air, ready for normal operation.
