Wiral LITE was created in that same line of thought, and it looks to make getting cable cam shots easier and faster than ever:

Pretty rad, right? So far the device creators have received over $2 million in Kickstarter and IndieGoGo funding. Interested buyers can still purchase it through IndieGoGo starting at $239 (40% off the planned retail price). The Wiral LITE is projected to go into production in Spring 2018 with expected delivery in May.
