Brendan Fairclough has a completely fresh start in 2012. He has a new bike & team (Scott11), new suspension (Fox), new tires (Schwalbe) a new knee and a new face. During some recovery and training time in SoCal, Taylor Sage caught up with @brendog_1 to see how his outlook on 2012 is shaping up. Brendan provides a candid interview with how he's progressing.

A week later, Brendan, who 'isn't riding downhill' went filming with Clay Porter for a Scott video and our boy, Ian Collins, snagged some photos as the action went down. Looks like B-spot is adjusting to his new bike and suspension just fine.

Flat pedal power.
Eyes ahead and natural, perfect form.
SERIOUS lean going on for someone who isn't even riding downhill at the moment.
A glimpse of Brendog_1 turning his competition to dust at some of the venues this year? Time will tell.

Really interesting video. Anyone know why he had to have face surgery in the first place? That's not his car either, his next tweet said that.

I tell you what...and no disrespect to any of the other hundreds of athletes I have worked with in the last 20 years, but working with Brendan Fairclough will be one of the true highlights of my time in MTB racing. I love working with Brendan, I am very lucky.
