The Spoon One2One is a dirt jump, slopestyle, skatepark, and street machine. Whoever wins it will be in heaven, that's for sure. This build is highlighted with several of Spank's Spoon and Tweet Tweet lines of products, both of which are well known for their durability and good looks.

This isn't just another dirt jump frame. A ton of thought and effort went into it. Here's a word from the man behind Spank, Mike Dutton, about some of the recent tweaks they made to make it even better:

The new Spoon One2One frame from Spank Industries recently went through a major update. After years of research with our pro riders and customers like you, the direction was clear but truly challenging. The goal was to preserve the lightness and overall feel (whipability), while improving on toe clearance during spin tricks, downtube clearance for some forks with taller adjustment knobs, as well as to optimize responsiveness.

To achieve this without increasing the overall wheelbase, we lengthened the top tube slightly and reduced the total length of the rear triangle while maintaining clearance for larger diameter tires by tuning the chain/seat stays. To complete the new rear triangle, we invested in forge tooling to create the lightest and strongest rear dropout we could. This new custom dropout is knurled to reduce annoying axle slip in the horizontal drops. The seat tube too was shortened to compliment the new rear triangle, and allow riders to slam that saddle.

To keep the weight under 2.5kg, we implemented a new double-butted tube set, with a classic round profile. Finally, all new welding fixtures and angles had to be worked out to allow for all the changes. Our riders were stoked to find that we were able to achieve all of this without revising the comfortable 69 degree head tube angle and short wheel base they loved. The Spoon One2One was topped off with a new graphics package over our matte black (with black logos) or toxic wasabi green (with white logos) powder coat finish.

Having said all that, we're curious how it rides. Before we give it away, we're going to have one of the best dirt jumpers here at Vital test this bad boy out and see what it's really made of. Don't worry... he won't hurt it.
