2019 Mountain Bike Tire Offerings from WTB

WTB's new tire lineup has options available in both tough (double-ply) and light (single ply with Slash Guard) casings, with either fast or high-grip compounds, and either their Tritec or Gravity DNA rubber.  If that all sounds a bit confusing, it probably is, but the color-coded picture should help sort out which combo is best for you.

In addition to the casing ad rubber options, WTB just released their rear-specific Judge 2.4 tire.  Featuring a more rounded profile, 1mm taller knobs, and prominent side knob configuration, the Judge is designed to provide excellent maneuverability, corner grip, and braking traction is soft, muddy, and loose trail conditions.  As with all of WTB's new tires it is also optimized for their preferred 29mm inner rim width.

The Trail Boss and Vigilante tires have also some updates.  In addition to being optimized for wider rims, the Trail Boss is available in both 2.4 and 2.6 widths, while the Vigilante has seen subtle changes to the orientation of its side and intermediate knobs for better grip in a wider variety of trail conditions.

Fresh off his Top 20 at the recent EWS in Slovenia, Marco Osborne's Cannondale was also on display. Send it Randy!
