So I don't need new fork, just upgrade the existing 140mm fork with 160mm or 170mm air spring from Fox (any specific part number?) and get a new shock 216x63 for the rear? Did you happen to add offset bushings too?
This route seems very attractive and worth the trial as affordable and inexpensive.
Again, thanks a bunch for the advice as I am a not so young newbie to mtb and still learning from the younger pros

Fox sells a 160mm spring. I went from 150mm to 160mm for a few months and now rocking a 170mm spring. It’s pretty sweet to have a 41lb 160mm rear 170mm front bike with 63.8degree HT.

You need to order the 160MM air spring from fox, and get a 216x63 rear shock. This guy also added offset bushings with his conversion but other owners who have converted to 275 rear have gone without it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YduEz7ad2Bs&t=304s

I am eyeing on the Rise M20 and really like the mullet setup idea. Would you mind providing or pointing me to some how-to instructions? I could understand that I'd need to swap out the shock but how about the "$50 160mm air spring"? Thanks

So when are you going to Mullet the Rise to 160/160 travel? It just takes a 8.5x2.5” (216x63) shock with 1 offset bushing in place of the 210x55 and a $50 160mm air spring
