Make sure your spring in between the pads is nice and stretched out really pushing those pads out and I have had people but the soft side of some velcro tape on the caliper right below the fins. Hope those tips help!

$65 with no middle man strikes me as kinda expensive. MAP (minimum advertised price) for most Maxxis models is less than $70. A direct to consumer cost of $45-$50 would put them on par with the wholesale pricing of the the most expensive mtb tires available.

I forgot to mention this in my post, but if you’re building your own wheels you might be running to low spoke tension. Rims dont last long if thats the case, or if the spoke tension is uneven. Spoke choice is also very important. You should’nt need to ... more »
