I loved this section at Sol Vista that right berm was so fun at mach chicken! Who else remembers how the braking bumps grew before the whoops? For me it was one of the best racing/weekend with the crew I ever had! I also look at that and fondly remember ... more »

We all eat, breath, drink, some sort of "poison" knowingly or unknowingly all the time I get sick of hearing it every time energy drinks are mentioned, I wonder how many people that make "just drink water" comments are straightedges themselves. Most ... more »

The problem isn’t that it wasn’t, it’s that being cracked is the first conclusion drawn. If it was many other brands I would have wondered if it was first but with pole I am more surprised it isn’t.

I can’t say I agree with mineral oil brakes being in better shape after 7-10 years. Most mineral oil brakes I see being Shimano are a leaking mess and not rebuildable Sram and Hayes are. All O-rings fail after some amount of time it’s nice to rebuild ... more »

If I was to guess the unnamed bike shares two things I have seen before, both aesthetic similarities with canyon seat tube and links on the side of the shock.

It seems like the post processing is going to make for a flatter rotor than Ice-tec they always have some side to side deviation more so than a normal ss rotor. Maybe because the sram rotor is stamping venting after the bond the rotors would be surface ... more »

Seems weird, I’m sure I’m missing something but even the norco just posted has a seat tube forward of the bb.

It’s the Moto fork oil that has the extra additives the bicycle specific doesn’t, should be fine and is used a lot around the shop I’m at.

No I don’t and as a mechanic for a living all of this is offensive and I do shake my head at co-workers from time to time. I don’t understand why being a slob and a bike mechanic is so prevalent not to say I’m a neat freak but... sometimes it’s painful. ... more »

I want to see more than one angle of hard/tech sections. I don’t want a lot of long straights with a ride tucked, sprinting, or long tabletops. I want to see real downhill. I can’t comprehend how hard my request is but don’t do it if that can’t be done. ... more »

I felt a little weird about it but Spomer is right to have started a gofundme. I love that tire and have counted on it more times then I know. I have sold a lot of them over the years and use it as a gateway for people to stop counting grams to see they ... more »

While I to was around for the 26-24” wheels I didn’t feel the turn in, which is a little better didn’t outweigh how the wheel fell deeper into holes. If I was to try different wheels again. I would try a plus tire like a 2.8 up front and a 29 rear. If ... more »

Would be nice if it was a dj frame, but clearly handle bar and likely a stem.

@bturman Somehow before I thought he was putting on a 10-42 cassette, I don’t know why I couldn’t get that out of my head. I’m sure the key ways on the dh spacer is much deeper than the alloy 42 on the Xo1 making the profile spacer unnecessary. But It ... more »

It should be there, it looks a lot like a 10sp cassette spacer but if you don’t use it will ruin the free hub then the cassette getting it off. Why they do that is a mystery to me.
