Possibly a new limited run from Sram, pattern similar to the red ones they released at launch? Skimmed through Jack Moirs videos, and this was the only clear-ish shot I could get of them. Im sure there are better images to have from photographers or other ytube vids.

A patent doesn't stop you from building something, but it does prevent you from exploiting it commercially. The use of the existing pivot bolt/idler location as a mounting point and the overlap between the chainring and the new drive ring suggests it was done this way because an idler pulley that large wouldn't fit without dramatically reducing the size of the chainring. Also either he doesn't understand "pedal efficiency" or I don't. It's effectively eliminated anti-squat, so pedal efficiency's now in the dirt.
