Reply to Shimano... Magura... Shigura Brake Setup 10/14/2021 11:52 PM

If you don't mind the price tag, Trickstuff offer good amount of power, smaller free-stroke and better modulation than a Shigura setup. Once tried them I could never go back or like something else. Not the same opinion from my wallet tho.

Zip tie under the bar, still hiding something to me, either telemetry or shock tune

That's a Gambler rear end. Not really a 'proto' thing, just a geo to suit him on a single crown keeping the good business from the Gambler suspension characteristics. Sorry to break the hype over your good find

Some people mentioned this unit from Öhlins https://www.ohlins.com/product/ttx36-mkii-ec/ It's the most plausible answer to me atm.

The telemetry bike must carry verins front & rear, a box and multiple wires all around connected to it to collect full data. A spare bike for telemetry as Specialized use to do usually doesn't have a custom worldchamp paintjob.

Nina's V10 had a pretty hard time on that crash, look how the VPP layout let the rear triangle to flip backwards...

The Demo is actually technically closer to the Sender with the cisor links (hidden near the bb) But I see your point 'visually'

all 27.5 frames with long base setup get clearance for 29. He must be running custom linkages to lower the BB.

The Trek Session 9.9 29 XL is 15.36kg, aluminium wheels, saint groupset. Less than the 26" you pointed. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/trek-session-99-29-review.html The Cube 215 is also very competitive in aluminium... Sure longer bike and bigger wheels may rise the weight, but years of research and experience ... more »
