Athertons to Marin would blow my mind. Even more bizarre than the Bryceland to crack and fail cannondale
Good point. If you turn the clutch off, it does feel much much better.
I had a couple bikes with the XT/E13 combo. I have to agree, the lever feel on the XT shifter is terrible. When your tired on a long ride, it takes a fair bit of effort to shift into a lower gear...start working out those thumb muscles. That said, I ... more »
I think you nailed it. If you are used to nice wheels/hubs that could be a disappointment when you jump on an entry level bike. That is one area where I think manufacturers save loads of money. The Formula hubs on the inexpensive Commencal Supreme or ... more »

Hey Hey, I've ridden the Strive extensively. That frame feels a little long in the tooth. I think we will see a redesign in the near future. The Shapeshifter, while it takes some getting used to, is pretty slick. The bike climbs surprisingly well. On ... more »
I think is to really decipher the climbing abilities of a bike/suspension design. Using the climb switch somewhat masks the properties of the suspension design. If a bike has a very active suspension design (moves under pedaling loads), the climb switch ... more »
It's a damn shame that Scott stopped selling that bike in America. The Voltage makes a ton of sense for a ton of people. There is a large group of riders that don't want to destroy their trail/enduro bike in the bike park and simply want a fun, functional, ... more »
The new Spectral is pretty god damn good. I have approximately 8-10 rides on the cheap aluminum build. The build kit is fantastic aside from the poor engagement on the hubs. Solid climber, capable descender, and very impressive components. If I were ... more »
I have ridden both bikes pretty extensively. The Jeffsy is too progressive. Even at 40% sag, I had trouble getting through the travel. As a result it kind of beats you up. I rode both the 29er and 27.5 and they settled deep into their travel when climbing ... more »
That's brutal. I have never lived in an area with this problem, but it has to be difficult. It is hard for me to comprehend. Do they issue tickets? Or what are the consequences of riding "closed" trails. I have lived in areas in the Northeast where hikers ... more »

That 2.3 aggressor is fine on my 29mm E*Thirteen rim. I love it. Obviously not the best tire for shutting down speed in a hurry. I'd like to give the Minion SS a try too
Price reduced to 2300
Hey Hey, 2016 TR500 DH bike for sale. High end drive-train, brakes, fork and rear shock. It is a sweet sweet bike. With spring right around the corner, this bike is ready to start blasting park laps and burly shuttle rubs.. This bike can run 27.5 or

Nailed it. I am a big believer in having "the right tool for the job". That said, mountain bikes are expensive and an enduro bike is no doubt the best jack of all trades if you can only have one bike.
I'm into this too. Decent derailleur with the a shifter. Sloppy shifter feel is a pet peeve
