Looks fantastic, and production-ready. As a rider who does most of his own service, I think a design that shields the shock from rear wheel muck will be very attractive to a lot of riders. Mucho gusto.

I haven't ridden a propain yet, but IMO, they're killing it with all their new bikes in the looks department. I'd love to see George do well on them or a major team pick them up as a bike sponsor with some fast riders to see what they can do.

Ahhh that's a pretty well finished "prototype"... Then main frame moulds and fittings look as though its production ready.

Can't speak for other countries, but if you're a US rider you pretty much need to be rich to get into World Cups. DH isn't a cheap sport, but traveling the country for 5 races that get you UCI points (and not even that many) is crazy. Expecting people to max out credit cards and...more

Another issue: the UCI should take a look at how the FIS handles the comebacks of injured skiers. As far as I know when injured skiers come back they are in an "insured state" for a couple of races where they can keep their pre-injured starting position. So something like with...more

Whilst all these points are very valid, why shouldn’t the UCI and red bull make the best TV show to cover the pinnacle of DH racing?
I have been a fan of DH for over 20 years and the coverage now is the best it has ever been.

But let’s take this year, we have only just got...more

1. Let's stop playing the blame game with UCI. They're job is not to make money for the sport. They simply provide guidelines of qualification. They do not dictate business.
2. Everyone on every continent has the capacity to put on an event that is WELL funded, draws top riders...more

I'm disappointed that you hold this viewpoint Jeff.

If it does nothing then why are you affected by it?

It does something for me. While I'm not black, I've been at the receiving end of racist remarks. A friend hated the Chinese and said they all should be bombed and...more

I'd still say Specialized deserve some credit here - they were ultimately the ones that signed off on it and put up the cash. It's not your everyday marketing video, so it's clear that they assumed some risk. Agreed though - great work from Harrison...more

On their Demo, yes, which is why Specialized offers the Demo as a mullet. But I've never seen them on non-29'er Stumpy or Enduros...

They stated years back they wanted to completely skip 27.5 sizing for adults and moved on to 29, but were forced to back into 27.5 by market demand.
Same people still there that said that before so doubt that thought Process has changed

It is and since freeride is going to make a comeback we are working on an over-center style link that will keep your bike bottomed out once it gets there to really maximize the freeride.

Spoiler alert- MTB "fashion" is and has always been 10-years old and borrowed from another sport. Skateboarding, moto, snowboarding, BMX, etc.
