Gorgeous. I still have a strega (love the green). Every time I ride it I'm blown away. Got a custom revalve tune from Mad Racing in Reno...Worth every penny AND I gave him extra as a tip, thats how good he made it feel.

How does the Grid Gravity T9 compare to the Assegai DH 2-Ply maxxterra / maxxgrip? Also, I have fond memories of the Clutch DH 10 years ago, and I wish Speshy would bring back a similar pattern. As an aside, I still do not see Loic riding Speshy tires as he was on a blacked out DHF at Snowshoe (at least in the front). Long story short, I tend to "stick" with tires that win world cups

So Sick! I have my 2012 Devinci Wilson set up the same (26 rear, 27.5 front). I'm still getting to know this set up.

Love the purple. I'm a purple guy too. You can add a Deity purple seatpost clamp and wolf tooth purple headset spacers. Also one up edc light in purple. All fairly affordable if in stock.

I did similar with my 2012 Wilson. I just dropped the crown a smidge.

Hi Stefan. I had a similar experience after a ruptured patellar tendon. I am 19 months post op. I still cannot ride very often, as i get tendonitis very easily and then have to take 2-3 months off all rehabilitation/activity. However, I truly believe, given enough time, that I will heal and be able to ride again...and downhill ski again. Take care...In 20 years these injuries will be practically forgotten.

I did the same thing to my Devinci Wilson - Dropper, 40 tooth one up cog, Absolute black 28 tooth oval, 27.5 front wheel/boxxer lowers (mullet).

Sooo sick! I always wanted one of those but ended up getting a 2011 Wilson that I turned into a "Downduro" mullet/freak show/dog's dinner over the last year -- external cable dropper post (check), 28 tooth oval chainring (check), 27.5" lowers on the same fork as yours (check), 10 speed cassette with a long cage derailleur and a one up 40 tooth cog (check), 48 lbs (check). Crazy as it sounds, it actually works. Slow and steady up fire roads.Goes down hill like it should...

Without removing the DD tires, with carefully chosen components, could the weight be brought down to 32lbs? Is the chain guide necessary? Thanks
