These are the brakes I will ride with for a while, but I might try other brakes at later point.also I am looking into hub options, so far Onyx looks promising.

there are multiple reasons for this mudguard, and I refuse to remove it, it protects my sensitive body parts from the tyre, especially with studded tyres it's a mus. but also it keeps mud away from the dropper post that the tyre sprays, also keeps the shorts cleaner, thus putting less wear on the saddle, shorts, keeping the butt section of the shorts dry, so in cold weather I don't get freezing cold, so no need for waterproof shorts, and it's more breathable, comfortable.
I am working on a post on my website where i will explain why I went with each of the components went for.

E13 reached out to me and gave me a new post free of charge, which was very nice of them and the right thing to do. The post I recieved had some upgrades from the first generation I was using on my bike. I put the new version of this post on my bike to do a side by side comparison...more

Experiencing these weakness is really upsetting! Oh it's easy maintenance, but when you have to do it every ride there is nothing easy anymore! Mine goes oem too and I plan to go (back) with KS, 4 years of smoothness, no care of the elements or crashes, never do any minimum service!

So the fork is a Fox 36, but with triple crowns? Huh?

Yeah, exactly! It's much stiffer this way, and the performance increase is insane.

This is the prototype, not yet publicly available - very soon though! SO much stiffer. Lots. I found the flex in my 36 CSU was causing the bushes to bind on bigger impacts on the initial part of the travel, effectively rendering them rigid... The MORC feels like actual, real suspension. I could write more, but I'd...more

What would you like to know?! Mojo offset-reduction crowns (MORC) that are a modification kit for Fox 36. They use the same damper, spring and lowers - replaces the flexy/creaky CSU with adjustable crowns and stanchions. They are amazing, 10mm less travel than I had and it feels like 73% more suspensions and...more

I thought they only had it for the 40 at this point. How different is the front end stiffness compared to a single crown 36 and/or the 40?

I carry all that too, with a few extras like pump, old brake pads, zip ties and a few wee odds and ends that always come in handy. So I thought I'd just make it nice and neat and stick it all in a sweet glorified purse that also promotes my business on the side! That also leaves me with nothing on my body, unless...more

Water bottle in a Specialized cage with multi tool, small Race Face pouch with tire lever, CO2 cartridge and injector, tire plug with an extra and a tube duct taped to frame.
If I’m out for a big day or a race that doesn’t return to “home”, I use a vest with back plate (required in many “local” races) with a...more

To store all the coins I need to buy cake after a ride, then transport said cake back home again!

Or maybe it's to store all the essential kit for every ride on the actual bike, rather than on my body... What do you take, and how do you carry it, on every ride?

Megawesome! grin Cheers!

It's been a revelation for me, all these parts have come together to make a real functional dream machine. I honestly think this setup is suited for 90% of MTBers. No hassle, no worries, just ride and ride hard. It's been going strong nearly 3 years now, with some minor evolution.
